Philosophy:

The eighth-grade Language Arts curriculum will focus on developing reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary skills within a literature-based program. Students who navigate thematically based units will build critical thinking and literary analysis techniques. Students will be encouraged to connect texts and historical and current events throughout the course.
